Quality Technician required by well established manufacturing company, based in Gloucester. The successful quality technician will play a key role in supporting and improving quality performance across the business.
Main Duties - Quality Technician
* Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and quality documentation
* Perform inspection and challenge internal teams and suppliers to improve quality adherence
* Conduct internal audits, site inspections, and root cause/corrective action activities
* Investigate customer complaints and audit non?conformities
* Producing quality performance reports
* Delivering quality?related training
* Managing calibration, document control, and quality registers
* Supporting the QHSE Manager with management systems, certifications, and strategic objectives
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Quality Technician
* A background within a similar quality technician role, gained in a manufacturing or equivalent environment.
* A relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
* Experience with a range of inspection equipment such as verniers and shadowgraphs
* Internal auditing experience
* The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient with Microsoft Office.
* Full UK driving licence
