In this role, you will lead the development, planning, delivery, and review of Gloucestershire Health and Care'sImprovement Training Programme. You will alsoprovideexpert guidance, coaching, and support to staff leading quality improvement projects across the organisation.

Main duties of the job

This role is offered on a fixed term/secondment basis for 9 months. The hours are part-time, 30 hours per week.

Internal applicants who wish to be considered for a secondment opportunity should discuss with their line manager the suitability of a possible secondment.

Training

  • Responsible for developing,planningand delivering Quality Improvement training for teams, in line with the Trust's approved improvementmethodology.

  • Evaluating training performance and taking proactive action to improve delivery, learning outcomes andimpact.

  • Ensure effective use of training resources, minimising costs, and avoiding unnecessarywaste.

Supporting Improvement work

  • To lead on assigned improvement projects asrequired, ensuring adherence to the GHC improvementmethodologyand robust application of improvementprinciples.

  • Provide guidance,coachingand support to improvement projects, ensuring effective application of improvement tools which result in quantifiable and sustainable improvements to quality, performance, andefficiency.

  • To ensure Quality Improvement workidentifiesclear measurable outcomes and can show how benefits have beenrealised.

  • Maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders,maintainingcommitmentand influencing change at alllevels.

  • Ensure robust data analysis drives improvement projects and support colleagues withunderstanding theirdata.

This high-level overview shows we are in a healthy position, with higher scores than average for comparable organisations, alongside a great response rate, indicating good staff engagement. However, we also know we have plenty of room for improvement in many areas. To that end, we continue to prioritise and invest in our commitment to genuinely becoming a Great Place to Work with consistent top-quartile performance in the annual staff survey and Pulse surveys.
