Bramble Homecare is looking for an experienced Quality Lead to support our domiciliary care services across Staverton, Cinderford and South Gloucestershire.
This is a practical, hands-on role working alongside our Care Managers to strengthen compliance, improve care planning and medication management, and ensure our services remain ready for CQC inspections and local authority assessments.
Your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing care plans and risk assessments to ensure they are accurate, person-centred and up to date.
Monitoring medication management, including medication assessments, MAR/eMAR records and medication audits.
Supporting managers to identify and resolve medication errors, documentation gaps and compliance concerns.
Completing quality audits, developing action plans and ensuring improvements are followed through.
Supporting ongoing CQC inspection readiness and preparation for PAMMS assessments and local authority monitoring.
Reviewing incidents, safeguarding concerns, complaints and medication errors to identify trends and improve practice.
Identifying staff competency and training needs arising from audits and quality monitoring.
Producing clear quality and compliance reports for the Director of Operations.
Sharing good practice and promoting consistent standards across all three services.
Providing operational cover and support when a Care Manager is away from the business.
What we are looking for:
Strong experience within domiciliary or home care.
Excellent understanding of CQC requirements and the Fundamental Standards.
Knowledge of PAMMS assessments and local authority monitoring.
Strong experience in care planning, risk assessments and medication management.
Experience completing audits and implementing quality improvement plans.
Confidence supporting and constructively challenging managers.
Excellent organisation, attention to detail and written communication skills.
The ability to work across several locations and prioritise areas of risk.
A relevant health and social care qualification, particularly Level 5 Leadership and Management in Adult Care, would be advantageous.
Regular travel between our Staverton, Cinderford and South Gloucestershire branches is required.
