Sales Ledger Assistant

Hycom is a thriving family run business which is continuing to grow and expand its workforce. Our main market sector is the construction industry with an e-commerce products sales team. We work nationally with the head office based just outside of Gloucester with beautiful countryside views.
We are looking for a Sales Ledger Assistant in the Finance department of Hycom. You will be working alongside the Finance Manager and Purchase Ledger Assistant and interacting with all other departments in the company. The role will encompass all elements of the sales ledger including
- New customer set-up including credit checking
- Maintaining customer databases
- Sales invoicing including construction payment application submissions
- Credit control / Statements
- Reviewing P&Ls on projects
- Supporting the Purchase ledger assistant and Finance Manager
Key Attributes / Experience
- Good team player, covering aspects of admin from all departments
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effect time management with the ability to meet deadlines
- Experience working with spreadsheets and databases
- Experience working with accounting software such as Xero
