Actual Annual Salary:  £22,213 - £24,211 (Based on hours and working weeks)  

Full Time Equivalent Salary: £25,941 - £28,275 CLF Grade B – based on full time, all year-round contract

Contract Type: Permanent 

Hours: Full Time 37 hours per week

Start: September 2026 – pending completion of pre-employment checks

We are looking for a qualified Chef to join our supportive and talented team at City Academy Bristol.

The Chef will work alongside members of the catering team providing a high quality of catering provision to students/staff and visitors to the academy. They will assist in a smooth operation on a daily basis including ordering, menu planning and costings. The postholder will be expected to support in developing the commercial business, coming up with new ideas and initiatives.

At all times, the post holder will be expected to work collaboratively with relevant colleagues to fulfil the requirements of the role and contribute positively to the effective running of the catering function within the academy.

To be successful in the post, we are looking for a chef to work alongside the Head Chef and catering team providing a high quality of catering provision to students/staff and visitors to the City Academy. You will assist in a smooth operation on a daily basis including ordering, menu planning and costings. Developing the commercial business, coming up with new ideas and initiatives.
