Are you passionate about education and making a difference in young people’s lives? We are seeking a Cover HLTA to deliver high-quality lessons across A Level subjects when regular lecturers are unavailable. This vital role ensures continuity of learning and helps students reach their full potential.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of A Level subjects.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes engagement and respect.
• Support learners academically and pastorally during cover periods.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with college policies.
• Complete attendance records and any required administrative tasks.
• Liaise with subject lecturers and curriculum teams to ensure smooth learning continuity.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different subject areas and classroom settings.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of learners.
• Previous experience in an educational setting (desirable but not essential).
