Woodmancote School is a 2FE school, with its own Pre-School on the edge of Cheltenham. We aim to live by our guiding principles-BELONG-ASPIRE-ACHIEVE and expect all members of staff to model these values.
We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Teacher who would fit into our happy, reflective and hard-working team. The successful candidate should have an excellent understanding of recent developments in pedagogy, have high expectations for behaviour and be confident with dealing with children with a wide range of abilities.
The successful candidate should
• Be able to establish and maintain excellent relationships with all members of the school community
• Be reflective and able to act upon advice from others and engage with professional development
• Have an excellent understanding of the importance of Reading for Primary Aged children
• Secure good progress for children, by having a comprehensive understanding of formative assessment.
• Be driven to ensure all children develop a sense of self-worth.
