Term Time only, plus an additional week over the summer for the creation of the staff list (39 weeks)

Bettridge is a Special school for pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties ranging in age from 2 to 19 years.
Are you organised, calm under pressure, and great at problem-solving? Bettridge School (Cheltenham, GL51) is looking for a part-time Staff Deployment Supervisor to join our friendly team.
We’re a dedicated school with 144 pupils, and we need someone to help ensure every class has the staff it needs, every day.
What you’ll do:
• Coordinate the daily deployment of teachers and teaching assistants, including agency staff
• Update the staffing calendar and keep records accurate
• Arrange cover for staff absences swiftly and efficiently
• Communicate staffing plans clearly with all relevant staff
What we’re looking for:
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Experience with scheduling or staff coordination (preferred)
• Ability to remain flexible and proactive
• IT confidence and attention to detail
