Art & Photography Technician

Churchdown School is seeking a creative, organised and proactive Art & Photography Technician to support the Art and Photography Department. This varied role involves maintaining equipment and resources, preparing materials for lessons, supporting exhibitions, assisting with photography and digital artwork projects, managing stock and orders, and providing technical support to staff and students.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain art and photography equipment, materials and resources.
• Support lesson preparation and practical teaching activities.
• Assist students during lessons and help develop departmental visual resources.
• Manage stock control, storage of student work, and processing of orders.
• Set up and take down gallery exhibitions.
• Provide photography, ICT and Adobe Photoshop support.
• Assist with reprographics, exam administration and departmental displays.
• Carry out routine maintenance and small-scale DIY projects.
• Receive and distribute deliveries within the department.
