We are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our supportive team at Ampney Crucis C of E Primary School to provide a combination of classroom support, 1:1 SEND support and lunchtime supervision/support.
The successful candidate will provide support in lessons but will also teach small groups and mentor students. As lunchtime supervisor you will support children’s non-teaching time by promoting a relaxed, calm and safe lunchtime period.
The role will require working across all subjects and activities and be mainly based in one class. However the job requires flexibility to work across the school, this may be in KS1 or KS2 dependent on need.
The successful candidate will need to:
• Have a passion for ensuring every child reaches their full potential
• Understand the primary curriculum including the EYFS curriculum
• Understand the safeguarding welfare requirements for primary age children
• Contribute toward as a safe, purposeful, and rich environment
• Have the commitment to work closely with the school community
• Have lots of energy and enthusiasm and enjoy life, laugh and smile!
