Part of the role will also require the candidate to support the class teachers and deliver SEND interventions.

• The pupils will require support during PE and may require intimate care.
• Knowledge of phonics, early reading, writing and maths is essential and experience of working with children who have SEND needs is required.
• The candidate will also need to supervise and deliver targeted interventions to small groups of pupils in EYFS/KS 1, so experience and knowledge of specific intervention and delivery, such as targeted reading, writing and maths support is desirable.
