Uley Primary School is a small village school (currently 104 on role) located in the beautiful surroundings of Uley.
The governors of Uley C. of E. Primary School are seeking to appoint a committed Clerk to join our happy team. The role comprises supporting meetings of the Full Governing Body, Resources Committee and the Curriculum and Standards Committee. 14 meetings over the year. Meetings are held on Wednesday evenings, 6.30-8.30pm.
Key duties:
• work with the head teacher and Chair of Governors to prepare agendas and papers
• attending meetings at Uley School
• deliver, distribute and administer accurate minutes
• provide support with ad hoc administrative requirements
• stay up to date with regulatory issues and advise FGB as required
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and administrative skills. Confidentiality and accuracy are of very high importance. Experience is preferred but not essential. Training can be arranged.
The post is part-time, permanent and term time only comprising of 70 hours per annum.
