Coney Hill Community Primary School is looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and committed EHCP Teaching Partner level 3 to support a child with an EHCP in our Reception class. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about inclusion, SEND and Early Years education, and who wants to make a real difference to a child's experience, development and independence in school.
The child has physical disabilities and speech, language and communication needs. They are a wheelchair user and require support with personal and intimate care, mobility, transfers and physiotherapy.
Previous experience of using a hoist and supporting children with physical disabilities would be advantageous, but is not essential. Full training and guidance will be provided by school staff and the child's Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy teams.
The position is linked to an EHCP and therefore fixed.
Hours are 20 hours Term Time only plus insets 08:50am to 1:20pm (1/2 hours lunch) 5 days a week (These hours could be increased to 30 Hours).
