Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or 3)

Are you a caring and motivated Nursery Practitioner looking for a new role in Gloucestershire?
We are recruiting for a lovely nursery setting within the GL postcode area that is seeking a qualified Early Years professional to join their team. This is a great chance to work in a supportive environment that values its staff and provides high standards of care for children.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Quality Care: Deliver exceptional care and education to children aged 0–5 years.
Curriculum: Plan exciting learning activities in accordance with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).
Observation: Monitor and record children’s progress, maintaining accurate learning journals.
Safeguarding: Ensure a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following strict safeguarding procedures.
Parent Partnership: Work in partnership with parents and carers to support children’s development at home and in the nursery.
Routine: Assist with daily tasks such as feeding, changing, and settling children.
Skills and Experience Required
Qualification: Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ/CACHE Diploma in Childcare / Early Years Education.
Experience: Experience working in a nursery, preschool, or kindergarten setting is highly desirable.
Knowledge: Good understanding of the EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and Safeguarding.
Transport: Being a driver with access to a vehicle is often an advantage in the GL area, though not always essential.
Clearance: Successful candidates will need an enhanced DBS check.
