Our Client is a reputable educational institution dedicated to providing quality learning experiences for students. With a focus on innovation and growth, they pride themselves on their inclusive culture and commitment to excellence in education.

They are seeking a School Business Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is crucial for managing the financial and administrative operations of the school, contributing to its strategic growth and success.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the school's budget and financial planning
  • Manage procurement, contracts, and vendor relationships
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Lead on HR functions, including staff recruitment and training
  • Provide strategic input on resource allocation and asset management

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar financial management role within an educational setting
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, and accounting principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Understanding of HR processes and best practices

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Recognised accounting or finance qualification
  • Experience with school management software
  • Knowledge of educational regulatory frameworks

Please note that you will be required to work on-site 4/5 days per week, however, there is some flexibility to work 1 day from home. They also provide a generous pension scheme.
