Due to a change in role and growing pupil numbers we are looking for a friendly and reliable individual to join our Midday Supervisor team at Parkend School. The successful candidate will be able to work both under direction and on their own initiative, providing general lunchtime supervisory support and acting as a positive role model for our children.

Duties will primarily include encouraging pupils to play games with others and supporting the development of social skills. The role also involves setting up tables for lunch and cleaning up afterwards, helping pupils with their meals, and supervising and engaging with pupils during the midday break. There is no food preparation or cooking involved in this position.

Previous experience is not essential; however, the successful applicant must be willing to undertake suitable training as required, be able to think on their feet, and interact well with children and other members of staff.

All applications must include the names, contact details, and telephone numbers of two referees. References will be checked prior to an offer of employment, and referees may be contacted directly. It is desirable that at least one referee is a current or previous employer.

Parkend School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
