We are looking to recruit two fixed term EHCPs Teaching Assistants. The posts are each fixed term contracts linked to the child supported - therefore if the child’s level of support changes or the child leaves the school the contract will be amended accordingly.
The successful candidate will:
· Have the ability to build supportive relationships with children providing the necessary guidance and instruction to help the child you will be working with grow towards achieving their full potential
· Be patient and have a positive attitude
· Have strong behaviour management skills and a variety of behaviour management strategies
· Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to support the child’s needs
· Be enthusiastic and willing to contribute to the busy life of the school
· Experience of working with children who have cognition and learning needs
· Have flexibility around working hours
· Be supportive of the Christian ethos of the school
The posts are:
Position 1 – EYFS TA – 21 hours per week at Grade 3 (4-6) and a MDSA (Grade 2, point 3)
Position 2 – KS1 TA – 22 hours per week at Grade 3 (4-6)
The post is offered on a fixed term basis and is suitable for ECT’s.
