We are seeking to appoint an organised, efficient and dynamic Administration Assistant to join our cohesive Learning Support team.
Our support staff work extremely closely with the teaching staff to provide the very best educational experience that we can for the young people in our school.
We expect the highest possible standards from all our staff and our support staff members take a full and active part in school life.
The successful applicant will:
• Have a proven ability to work effectively independently and within a team ethos
• Have the skills to prioritise and organise their workload efficiently.
• Be committed to the all-round welfare of our students
• Have effective communication skills and enjoy working with young people
• Have high expectations of themselves and others
• Be flexible and adaptable; willing to embrace change and seek to improve knowledge of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
• Have a positive ‘can-do’ approach to their work
Maidenhill is a school with real momentum, ambition and heart. We are a welcoming and inclusive 11–16 school where we want every young person to feel known, valued and challenged to achieve their very best.
Our mantra - Be Kind, Aspire, Persevere, Achieve - is at the heart of everything we do and reflects the culture we work hard to build every day.
This is an especially exciting time to join Maidenhill. In 2026, we are celebrating our best-ever examination results, alongside an excellent Ofsted inspection in June 2026, where the school achieved the expected standard in every area. These successes reflect the dedication of our staff, the ambition of our students and the strength of a community that believes strongly in continual improvement.
Our expectations are high because our ambitions for young people are high. We want students to enjoy their five years with us, while being equally supported and challenged to become confident, happy and successful young adults, ready to access the very best opportunities beyond Maidenhill.
We are equally ambitious for our staff. We want Maidenhill to be a place where talented people enjoy coming to work, feel valued and supported, and are given genuine opportunities to develop professionally.
As we continue the next stage of our journey, we are looking for people who share our values, believe in the potential of every young person and want to play their part in shaping an increasingly successful school.
Closing Date: Monday 19th October 26 at 9am.
This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff, and volunteers, to share the same commitment. This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
