JOB TITLE: Cleaner in Charge

GRADE: 4 (4.7 – 4.10 £26,403 - £27,694 pro rata – dependent on skills/experience)

CONTRACT: Fixed term, with the aim becoming permanent

HOURS: Part time: (3.00pm – 7.00pm) 20 hours per week, term time only (38 weeks).

RESPONSIBLE TO: The Headteacher

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our school to ensure the school environment is suitable for our pupils to learn. We have a vacancy for a permanent cleaner in charge to join our friendly team ASAP. The post is for 20 hours per week, term time only (38 weeks). With additional cleans during inset days & holidays by mutual agreement and paid extra.

Your duties will be directed by the headteacher.

We are looking for a candidate who;

• Is self-motivated and thorough
• Organised and able to prioritise
• Can contribute to a quality service, working within agreed standards
• Maintains confidentiality
• Has the ability to work on own initiative, work efficiently, be adaptable and able to change
• Works well as a member of a team and on their own,
• Maintains good working relationships,
• Has good interpersonal skills and organisation skills

The working hours are 3pm – 7.00pm Monday to Friday. This is 20 hours per week. Term Time (38 weeks)

As cleaner in charge, you will also support in the maintenance of the school’s buildings, gardens and grounds throughout the year alongside the cleaning responsibilities.
We are looking to appoint a flexible, reliable and conscientious person to join our friendly, committed team.
