This is a fixed term contract commencing as soon as possible. The contract will run until Wednesday 21st July 2027.
Brimscombe C of E Primary School is a small, vibrant primary school. We have 100 pupils and enjoy being part of a fantastic community.
We are recruiting for a KS1 Class Teacher for our combined Year 1/2 class.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and teach well-structured lessons following the school's plan, curriculum and schemes of work
- Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievements of assigned pupils, making accurate and productive use of assessment
- Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of pupils
- Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
- Promote good subject and curriculum knowledge
- Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
- Communicate effectively with pupils, parents and carers
- Collaborate and work with colleagues and other relevant professionals within and beyond the school
Contracted hours will be Monday - Thursday.
