Does this sound like your dream? How about joining the team that make the dream a reality?!
Eastcombe Primary School are seeking a talented Grade 5 Teaching Partner with proven skills to ensure all pupils consistently ‘Aim High, Achieve and Believe’. We have a rare and exciting opportunity to offer a 32.5 hour a week blended role that includes supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis for some time whilst also working alongside our teacher to support our Year 3/4 class.
Eastcombe Primary School is an idyllic, small school in the heart of the village. Within our historic Victorian building, we have less than 60 pupils on roll across three classes - full of vibrant, enthusiastic pupils. Our happy, supportive staff work together to give our pupils a rich learning experience where each child is truly valued and supported to achieve their very best in their learning – and their life! It’s impossible to walk away without feeling inspiration!
We’re looking for a warm individual who:
- has a L3 or above Teaching Assistant qualification
- is calm and patient yet able to build relationships with pupils that enable them to flourish
- has a strong understanding of teaching and learning and how to effectively support a range of pupils’ needs
- can contribute to classroom systems, effectively assess and adapt planning to support individuals, groups and whole classes
Visits to our school can be arranged by phoning: 01452 770227. We encourage interested candidates to apply as soon as possible as we may close this vacancy early should we receive a high volume of suitable applications.
Applications should be made using a GCC application form and emailed to admin@eastcombe.gloucs.sch.uk .
