Job summary
Stores Technician has responsibility across both critical care units in Gloucestershire to ensure seamless supply, reliability and availability of stock and equipment to support life supporting care.
Working alongside the managed services co-ordinator and reportable to the ward manager and matron.
As a successful candidate, you can look forward to working in a friendly and supportive environment The post holder will work as an integral part of the DCC team, alongside our clinical teams to ensure safe and efficient care for our patients.
Main duties of the job
Main duties - Organise storage areas, distribution and rotation of stock across the departments, liaising with stores/procurement to ensure no break in supplies. Sourcing of cost saving but effective alternatives.
Ensuring equipment is kept serviced, available, clean, and in good working order.
You are required to be logical, methodical, reliable, friendly and approachable. A good team worker as well as self-motivated to work alone as needed.
About us
The team consists of mainly cross-site rotational staff, including the senior nursing staff and consultants. They are friendly, supportive and highly motivated to provide outstanding care as recognised by the Care Quality Commission CQC.
You role is vital to the continuing excellent service provided to the patients, and families of Gloucestershire.
