About the Role

Cirencester Kingshill School is seeking to appoint an ambitious and dynamic Second in Charge of English to join our successful and forward-thinking English faculty. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher ready to take the next step in leadership, supporting the development of teaching, learning and curriculum within a high-performing department. Working closely with the Head of Faculty, you will play a key role in driving standards and contributing to an ambitious and inclusive curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

- Support leadership of the English faculty and contribute to its development

- Lead on aspects of curriculum design and implementation

- Drive high-quality teaching through collaboration and coaching

- Use assessment effectively to raise standards

- Contribute to co-curricular opportunities

- Act as a Form Tutor, supporting students as a key advocate
