Class People are currently recruiting for an experienced Music Teacher to join a secondary school in the Fairford area for a part-time teaching position starting in Term 2.

The role will involve teaching Music at KS3 on Thursdays and Fridays. This is a full teaching position with full teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking and assessment.

There is potential for the role to continue beyond Christmas for the right candidate.

The Role
Teaching Music across KS3.
Teaching on Thursdays and Fridays each week.
Planning and delivering engaging Music lessons.
Assessing and monitoring student progress.
Managing classroom behaviour effectively.
Taking full responsibility for teaching and learning within your classes.
Working closely with colleagues within the Music department and wider school.
Supporting students to develop their knowledge, skills and confidence in Music.
About You

The successful candidate will ideally:

Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Have experience teaching Music within a secondary school.
Be confident teaching KS3 Music.
Have strong classroom management skills.
Be able to plan and deliver engaging lessons independently.
Have high expectations of students and their learning.
Be reliable, professional and committed to providing a high standard of teaching.
