We are seeking an inspirational Teacher of Business Studies and Economics with a passion for outstanding teaching and meaningful learning experiences to join our team at Tewkesbury Academy. Through your subject expertise, you will deliver a high-quality Business Studies and Economics curriculum that develops students' commercial awareness, entrepreneurial thinking, economic understanding and analytical skills, while helping them understand the role of businesses, markets and economic decision-making in the local, national and global economy.

About you
You will be:
A qualified teacher or hold an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Able to deliver the Business Studies and Economics curriculum with confidence and creativity, consistently teaching high-quality lessons across the relevant key stages.
Skilled in meeting the needs of a diverse range of learners, including pupil premium students, looked after children, those with SEND and high-attaining students.
A strong communicator, capable of embracing change, motivating colleagues and building positive, supportive relationships with students, staff and parents.
Committed to offering learning beyond the classroom, recognising and valuing enrichment opportunities such as enterprise activities, business competitions, employer engagement, educational visits, careers events and cross-curricular projects that enhance students' understanding of business, economics and the wider world.
Motivated to develop your own expert practice while contributing to the professional growth of others.
Highly competent across all elements of the Teachers' Standards, with substantial and sustained achievements suited to an Upper Pay Scale teacher.
