Your role in Building Brighter Futures
As a Senior Site Assistant at Wellsway school you will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of Futura’s mission statement of “Building the brightest future for all, enabling every individual to flourish”. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about living our values and making a positive impact on all the young people in our Trust.
Wellsway School is a well-established secondary school in Keynsham with a strong academic tradition and inclusive ethos. It provides students with a high-quality education and a wide range of opportunities to develop their interests, leadership skills, and character.
As Senior Site Assistant you will be responsible for:
Undertaking a wide range of duties and responsibilities connected with the Trust sites, buildings and environments providing an efficient, effective and professional estates service for the Trust.
The post-holder will:
- Ensure the safety and security of site users at all times
- Undertake regular checks, internal and external maintenance and maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of buildings and grounds at all times
- To be flexible to work at any of the schools within the Trust as required.

- Qualifications: Basic Literacy and numeracy skills
- Experience: Experience needed in DIY/Practical skills
- Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, excellent practical DIY skills
