Manual Grinder

Position: Manual Grinder
Position: permanent
Location: Willenhall
Hours of work:39 i.e. Monday to Thursday 8:00 am to 05:00 pm and on Fridays 8:00 am to 1:00 pm
Salary: £36500 per annum
Due to our customer expansion, they are now seeking to recruit a manual grinder to work in a busy manufacturing engineering company based in Willenhall. The appropriate manual grinder will be responsible for manufacturing, repairing and assembling of complete progression tooling to technical drawings and specifications
Responsibilities:
* Perform tooling assembling and grinding on Jones and shipman's, Snow and Lumsden grinders
* Setting and operating of all Toolroom measuring equipment.
* To source and obtain parts and materials as required following the procedures of the procurement system
* To maintain the relevant stock levels of spares and consumables.
Requirements:
* Ideally previous experience in manual grinding on Jones and shipman's, Snow or Lumsden grinders
* Knowledge of milling and turning
* Able to use measuring equipment.
* Must be able to work to tight tolerances
