Social Media Manager

We work from Cheltenham and Gloucester-based co-work spaces. This is a hybrid role, so you can work from home but must also be present in-person and at events and client visits when required.
As a content creator, you will be responsible for heavy audio and visual kit, therefore, access to a car is essential.

We also offer comprehensive Digital Marketing Strategy and management services such as social media and newsletter management. Our clients are primarily technical or complex, such as cybersecurity, we enable them to communicate clearly and effectively.
The Role:
AVC is growing, and we’re seeking an experienced social media professional who can deliver full social media management services for us and our key clients. This role requires an ambitious, reliable, and motivated individual with hands-on experience in production and editing.
Responsibilities and Duties
Plan and deliver social media strategies for our key clients
Develop and implement social media strategies across a range of clients
Full management of social media presence for multiple clients including planning, writing, scheduling and reporting of content
Develop trusted partnerships with key clients
Attend and lead planning meetings
Be a trusted expert in social media and content marketing. This could involve leading workshops and talks for our clients and target audience.
Support and collaborate with content creators, clients and other team members.
Create and edit content in the form of video, graphics and photography.
Support behind-the-scenes for AVC and client content creation days for video, podcast and photography production.
Build a presence within the Cheltenham business and cybersecurity communities to raise Alice Violet Creative's profile and drive leads.
Guide and manage the social media presence of Alice Violet Creative.
Skills and Experience Required for the Role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management and organisational skills
A creative approach to digital and content marketing
2 years experience managing multiple social media accounts in-house or for an agency.
Experience in creating various digital content for social media, such as video, photography, graphics and written content.
An interest in learning new skills and technologies and growing with the needs of the role and company.
Ability to prioritise client deliverables.
Experience using a social media management tool such as Hootsuite.
An understanding of wider social media optimisations such as SEO.
Knowledgeable of current and future trends in social media.
Experience using Canva.
Experience Preferred for the Role (not essential)
Content creation in the form of video, audio, photography, or articles.
Experience working at a tech or cybersecurity company.
Experience working for a start-up or busy agency.
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) for websites and social media.
Adobe Creative Cloud: Audition, Premiere Pro, Photoshop.
Podcasting or professional content production.
