About Media Waypoint
Media Waypoint is a small, friendly digital agency working across e-commerce, retail, lifestyle and SME clients. We’re now looking for a creative, hands-on Content & Social Executive to help shape and elevate the content we produce, with a particular focus on one of our flagship clients, Able2 Wear, an exciting adaptive clothing brand that’s growing fast.
This is a brilliant role for someone who loves creating visual content, enjoys being part of a small team, and wants real ownership over ideas, output and creative direction.
Responsibilities Include
As our Content & Social Executive, you'll join Media Waypoint and work closely with our founder and internal team. Your primary focus will be leading content creation and social media activity for Able2 Wear, including:
- Shooting product photography and short-form video
- Creating social posts, stories, reels and TikToks
- Refreshing website product imagery
- Developing creative social strategies
- Producing campaign ideas and visuals
- Planning and scheduling content across platforms
Alongside Able2 Wear, you’ll also support a small number of Media Waypoint social clients. These are light-touch accounts with straightforward content needs - ideal for balancing your week and rounding out your experience.
You’ll have access to a small in-house studio, and work closely with Sal (Able2 Wear Operations Manager) to bring the brand’s visual presence to life.
What your day will look like
- Full Time (37.5 hours per week), but happy to be flexible
- Plan, shoot and edit product photos and videos
- Create engaging social media content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Pinterest
- Write captions, schedule posts and manage social calendars
- Keep Able2 Wear’s website content fresh and visually strong
- Support Media Waypoint social clients with basic post creation and scheduling
- Suggest new creative ideas and be proactive in improving our visual output
- Track performance and suggest improvements based on insight
- Bring consistency, quality and energy to everyday content creation
What we’re looking for
- Someone naturally visual with strong content instincts
- Experience in social media management or content creation
- Confident with a camera (phone or DSLR)
- Basic video editing (Reels, TikTok, CapCut, Premiere, etc.)
- Good eye for lighting, framing and brand aesthetics
- Solid written communication
- Proactive, organised and able to work independently
- A positive, creative person who likes being hands-on
Not essential, but a bonus:
- Experience with e-commerce and e-commerce platforms
- Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe, etc.)
