Join Our Team as a Community Connector!

Are you passionate about making a difference in people’s lives? We’re looking for a dynamic and compassionate individual to join our Recovery & Aftercare team.

As a Community Connector, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting clients on their journey to independent living.

What’s in it for you?

Location: Various – Countywide across Gloucestershire

Hours: 35 hours per week
(includes one evening per week plus one additional evening per month)

Salary: £25,000 per annum

Your Role

  • Bridge the gap between structured treatment and aftercare
  • Provide compassionate support to help clients overcome obstacles
  • Develop personalised recovery plans
  • Connect clients to essential services and community resources
  • Facilitate group sessions and community events
  • Advocate for clients and work to reduce stigma around addiction and recovery

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in substance misuse support and recovery
  • Strong understanding of recovery capital and safeguarding procedures
  • Excellent communication and IT skills
  • A warm, friendly demeanor and a positive, can-do attitude
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Gloucestershire
