Our excellent client in Tewkesbury is looking for a reliable Warehouse Assistant to join their friendly, growing team on a full time, permanent basis.

Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader, your role will be to ensure the manufacturing team has all the components and kits they need. You will also help maintain accurate stock levels by carrying out regular stock counts and updating the stock control system.

It essential for this individual to have previous warehouse experience.  Counterbalance & Reach forklift license is not essential, but you will be encouraged to attain this once in place.

Key Duties
- Pick components and kits and supply them to the Manufacturing team.
- Maintain accurate stock records following the movement of goods.
- Keep inventory organised, tidy and stored in the correct locations.
- Follow 5S principles to maintain a clean and efficient working environment.
- Comply with all Health & Safety procedures at all times.
- Provide a helpful and professional service to internal and external customers.
- Support the team in maintaining a positive and efficient working environment.
- Work with minimal supervision, using initiative where appropriate.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the stores function.
- Carry out any other ad hoc duties as required.

Key Attributes
- Previous warehouse/stores experience
- Reliable team player

Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm (some flexibility on start/finish times can be offered)

Salary: £25,539 per annum (£13.10 per hour) + benefits including;
