HGV Workshop Supervisor

Our client, a well-established company within the fleet maintenance and transport industry, based in Beenham, Berkshire, has an exciting new opportunity for an HGV Workshop Supervisor to join their team on a full-time permanent basis due to business growth and increased demand.
The successful HGV Workshop Supervisor should have:
·Proven experience in a supervisory role within an HGV or commercial vehicle workshop
·LGV Class 2 licence and digital tachograph card
·NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair
·Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and mechanical systems
·Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation and workshop compliance requirements
In this role, the HGV Workshop Supervisor will be responsible for:
·Supervising HGV Technicians and Apprentices, ensuring efficient allocation of work and smooth workshop operations
·Carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on commercial vehicles when required
·Managing job cards, service documentation, defect reporting and workshop records
·Supporting parts ordering, stock control and fleet maintenance system updates
·Driving continuous improvement, compliance and high standards of safety across the workshop
