At Fonthill Primary Academy, we are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable School Meals Supervisory Assistant (SMSA) to join our friendly lunchtime team and help make playtimes and lunchtimes safe, enjoyable and meaningful for every child.
Fonthill is a welcoming one-form entry primary school in Southmead, Bristol, with a strong community feel, ambitious vision and nurturing ethos. We are proud of our extensive outdoor spaces, Forest School area and commitment to children's wellbeing, belonging and joy.
As an SMSA, you will:
✅ Supervise children during lunch and playtimes✅ Encourage healthy eating and positive behaviour✅ Lead and join in games and play activities✅ Help children build friendships and develop confidence✅ Ensure children are safe, happy and ready to learn in the afternoon✅ Be a positive role model within our school community

Fluency Duty
This role has been identified as falling within the definition of requiring fluency in spoken English. You will be required to speak English with confidence and be able to conduct a conversation and answer questions for extended periods of time.
