About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding team delivering a major highways infrastructure project in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a high-profile scheme that will significantly improve transport connectivity in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead commercial management of the project, including cost planning, forecasting, and reporting
- Manage subcontractor procurement, tender evaluations, and contract administration
- Ensure accurate measurement, valuation, and agreement of work packages
- Monitor project performance and advise on cost-saving opportunities
- Prepare and manage claims, variations, and final account documentation
- Ensure compliance with NEC contract requirements
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to support successful delivery
About You
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience working on highways or major civil engineering projects
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts (NEC3 or NEC4)
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider project team
- Keen eye for detail and commitment to best practice in commercial management
Salary is upto 55,000k + package.
