	North Nibley C of E Primary School is looking for a caring, proactive Teaching Assistant to join our small, values-driven team. You’ll help children thrive—academically, socially and emotionally—by supporting learning in class and in small groups.
About the role
	You will:
	Support individual pupils and small groups with tasks set by the class teacher, building independence.
	Provide positive encouragement, help develop social skills, and deliver 1:1 interventions where needed.
	Assist with English and maths, contribute feedback to teachers, and help implement inclusive practice.
About you
	We’re looking for someone who:
	Has strong basic literacy/numeracy (GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent).
	Brings experience of working with primary-aged pupils and adapts learning so every child makes progress.
	Is calm, friendly, and a flexible team-player who values high-quality education for all.
	(An NVQ Level 2 in Supporting Teaching & Learning—or equivalent—is desirable.)
	Hours & pattern
	Three days: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (part-time).
	Start date and daily hours to be agreed with the successful candidate.
