Gloucester

Start date: 1st September 2026
This post is exempt from the Equality Act 2010 (Schedule 9, Part 1) as it is a Genuine Occupational Requirement that the postholder is male. This is due to the intimate personal care needs of the student, focusing on privacy, dignity and personal preference.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate male Teaching Assistant with personal care to work 1:1 with a student with disabilities, as well as undertaking classroom TA responsibilities. This role is vital in providing tailored support that enables the student to move around the school site, build confidence, and reach their full potential. We welcome applications from colleagues who enjoy working as part of a team and who seek to contribute actively to the promotion of achievement and enrichment activities throughout the School. Ultimately, we are seeking a teaching assistant who will enthuse pupils in this oversubscribed selective school.
