We currently have two SEN Teaching Assistant vacancies, both 27.45hrs per week, to support the learning and welfare of children. The roles will also include 5 hours a week mid-day supervision.
There are two roles available. One in EYFS and one in KS2.
The successful candidates will demonstrate that they can support children with a range of needs, work as part of the SEN team supporting the planning and delivery of learning opportunities that meet the needs of child[ren] with EHCPs.
The pay scale will reflect previous experience and qualifications ranging from Grade 3 [unqualified] – Grade 4 or Grade 5 [Relevant qualification in Education].
The successful candidate will need to:
• be a team player
• have good interpersonal and communication skills
• ideally have experience of SEN
• ideally have experience of working in EYFS and KS1 or KS2
• be able to conduct and support learning in 1:1 and small group learning situations
• communicate assessments and evaluations of learning to the class teacher and SENDCo
• build good relations with children, parents and staff
• be enthusiastic, hard-working, caring, flexible and self-motivated
• work to support our school ethos of helping children become Successful, Happy, Ambitious, Responsible and Proud
