We are a welcoming and aspirational special school for pupils aged 2 to 19, where relationships come first and progress is measured in confidence, independence and joy, as well as academic achievement.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our special school, supporting pupils with a range of complex additional needs. Working closely with class teachers, you will provide tailored support to individuals and small groups, helping pupils to access personalised learning programmes and develop communication, independence, and social skills. The role involves supporting pupils with a variety of SEND needs, assisting with personal care where required, and promoting a safe, structured, and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be patient, resilient, and adaptable, with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs. Experience in a special school or relevant setting is desirable, along with strong teamwork and communication skills.
