We are seeking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant on a casual basis to work with the Pre-school children in Saplings. Now that we are accepting 2 year olds into pre-school we need to adhere to stricter adult: pupil ratios.

The position is casual and hours will vary depending on the operational needs of the school, so flexibility will be essential.

We are looking for someone who can:
• Work closely with class teachers to deliver effective support
• Support individuals and small groups to help them achieve their full potential
• Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents
• Use their initiative and enthusiasm to engage and motivate children
• Help prepare and organise resources and learning materials
• Assist with behaviour management and classroom routines
• Contribute to assessment and observations as required
