We are seeking to appoint dedicated and confident Teaching Assistants to join our team and work across the curriculum and phases of the school.

As a Teaching Assistant at Alderman Knight, you will play an essential role in supporting pupils throughout the school day. You will be part of a tutor group team and will work closely with teachers to provide high-quality support for learning, the curriculum, and the wider school environment.

We are currently looking to appoint TAs who can complement our existing team. We welcome applicants who are flexible and able to work across subjects and age groups. Most importantly, we are looking for individuals with the skills, enthusiasm, and confidence to support learners typically working within Year 3 to Year 7 Age Related Expectations (within our secondary phase). Some pupils also study GCSEs and other accreditations in KS4 and Post-16.

At Alderman Knight, we place great value on staff working to their strengths, while also ensuring that everyone feels confident supporting pupils across the school. Although we have four phases - KS2, KS3, KS4, and Post-16 - we are one school where pupils and staff regularly collaborate and learn together.

If you are passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and are looking for a rewarding and genuinely fulfilling role, we would love to hear from you. This may be the perfect next step in your career.

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff, and volunteers, to share the same commitment. This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
