What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an inspiring Pastoral Support Lead to provide outstanding pastoral care to support students in attending school from September 2025. This is a key role for the Academy in fulfilling its commitment to develop “the heart” of the school. You will be working with the Family Liaison Officer, Attendance Officer and Assistant Headteacher responsible for Safeguarding and Attendance and families to determine the best support and intervention strategy, evaluate the impact of such provision for vulnerable students, lead meetings with parents/carers, students and outside agencies.

You are likely to have gained experience in working with young people in a school setting and have a track record of impact through your career or personal experience. You will be able to bring to us a drive and determination to ensure that every student receives the support they need to be the best version of themselves. You will need to provide strategic leadership, be able to hold others accountable, have great people skills and deeply care for all young people.
