Job overview
You will support the planning, preparation, and delivery of learning experiences, working closely with our wonderful children, some of whom have special educational needs, but at times you will support the wider class group. With guidance, you will help to prepare and provide resources that enhance learning activities while also ensuring pupils receive strong pastoral support. In addition, you will contribute to the evaluation of pupil progress and share feedback with the class teacher, helping to ensure that every learner’s needs are met. The role is based in a truly wonderful school, where a strong sense of 'family' is at the heart of everything we do.
Job requirements
- A minimum of 3 GCSEs at C grade or above, including English and Maths
- Teaching Assistant qualification
- Experience of class supervision and assisting with lesson provision to achieve positive learning outcomes
- Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in tandem with teaching staff
- Ability to be empathetic and understanding to the needs of learners; the ability to form positive relationships to enable strong inclusion and support of our children
