Primary Teaching Assistant

Are you ready to make every school day matter? Thrive Education is looking for a friendly, proactive Primary Teaching Assistant to join warm and welcoming schools across Cheltenham.
You’ll be working alongside experienced teachers to support pupils in developing confidence, curiosity and a genuine love of learning. Whether it’s helping with group activities, guiding small-group reading, supporting an SEN pupil or offering that all-important encouragement, you’ll be right at the heart of classroom life.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the class teacher with learning activities and resources
- Providing 1:1 or small-group support for pupils who need an extra boost
- Encouraging positive behaviour and celebrating achievements
- Helping to create a safe, inclusive and inspiring classroom
What we’re looking for:
- A caring, flexible attitude and a sense of humour
- Some experience working with children (in school or similar setting)
- A genuine passion for education and child development
