SEN Teaching Assistant

You’ll be supporting children with additional needs, working 1:1 or in small groups to help them succeed both academically and emotionally. Every day is different, and every achievement, no matter how small, feels huge.
Your day might include:
- Supporting pupils with learning and emotional needs
- Encouraging independence and social confidence
- Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to adapt activities
- Using patience, positivity and creativity to help every child succeed
You’ll need:
- Empathy and understanding for children with diverse needs
- Experience in an SEN or mainstream school (preferred but not essential)
- Flexibility and a willingness to learn
