SEN Teaching Assistant Required in Cheltenham

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers and other school staff to support pupils with a range of additional needs.

Depending on the school and individual role, you could be:

Providing 1:1 support to pupils
Supporting small groups and interventions
Helping pupils access classroom learning
Supporting children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and other additional needs
Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence and independence
Helping create a calm, inclusive and supportive learning environment

Every pupil is different, so we're looking for people who are patient, adaptable and able to build genuine relationships.

What We're Looking For
Experience working with children or young people
SEN experience is desirable but not essential for every role
A patient, calm and positive approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Reliability and the ability to work well as part of a school team
A genuine interest in supporting children and young people
