Holy Trinity C of E Primary School are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team.

This is a varied role combining classroom support with midday supervision responsibilities. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support teaching and learning during the school day, while also playing an important role in ensuring children enjoy safe, active and purposeful play at lunchtime through our OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) approach.

The successful candidate will:

Support teaching and learning across the school, working with individuals, small groups and whole classes.
Help create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
Support pupils' social, emotional and behavioural development in line with our Christian vision and values.
Undertake midday supervision duties, ensuring children are safe, happy and engaged during lunchtime.
Actively support the school's OPAL approach by encouraging high-quality outdoor play, developing positive relationships and helping children make the most of our outdoor environment.
Promote positive behaviour and help children develop independence, resilience and social skills through play.
Work collaboratively with staff to ensure all pupils are supported to achieve their full potential.

We are looking for someone who:

Is passionate about supporting children's learning and wellbeing.
Enjoys working with children both in the classroom and outdoors.
Understands the importance of play in children's development and wellbeing.
Can build positive relationships and encourage children to play creatively and cooperatively.
Has a positive, flexible and proactive approach.
Shares and actively promotes our Christian ethos and values.
Is able to work effectively as part of a team.
Experience of working in a primary school is desirable but not essential.
