Supply Teaching Assistants (Including SEND) – Flexible Roles in the Cotswolds

Thrive Education is looking for caring, adaptable Supply Teaching Assistants to support a variety of schools across the Cotswolds and surrounding rural communities, including mainstream and SEND settings.

We welcome applicants who are interested in:

  • Adhoc / day-to-day supply
  • Short-term placements
  • Longer-term roles

Whether you’re seeking occasional work to fit around other commitments or something more consistent, these roles offer flexibility alongside rewarding classroom experience.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 (depending on placement)
  • Providing support within mainstream classrooms and SEND provisions
  • Offering 1:1 or small-group support tailored to individual needs
  • Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to create a calm, inclusive learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children (essential), including those with additional needs
  • A patient, nurturing, and flexible approach
  • Access to your own transport is highly desirable, as many schools are in rural locations with limited public transport
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, SEND training) are desirable but not essential

Why Work with Thrive Education?

  • Flexible work that fits around your lifestyle
  • A supportive, down-to-earth team who know their local schools
  • Opportunities in welcoming, community-focused Cotswold schools
  • Ongoing guidance and honest, friendly support

If you’re passionate about supporting children, including those with SEND, and would enjoy flexible work in beautiful rural school settings, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply today with Thrive Education and find a role that works around you.

Salary: £90-£105 per day
