Teaching Assistant - SEMH

JOB PURPOSE:
Work as part of a team to promote the Social, Emotional, and Mental Health development of Academy students.

• To promote and secure high standards of teaching and learning, student achievement and progression.
• To actively contribute to the Schools vision, ethos, aims and objectives.
• To compliment the professional work of teaching staff by:
- Leading a specialist focus area within the school for a small number of students with a variety of SEND.
- Having responsibility for this focused area.
• Supervision of other teaching assistants related to the students based in the focused area.
