The Governing Body of Churchdown Parton Manor Schools Federation wishes to appoint a Teaching Assistant (SEN). The successful candidate will work for 20 hours each week over five days, supporting children with additional needs, in a small group setting with 3-4 other adults, tailoring learning to meet the individual’s specific needs.
We are looking for someone who:
• Preferably has some experience in working with high needs children
• Is committed and passionate about giving some of our most vulnerable children the best possible start in their education
• Is able to provide consistent routines and boundaries
• Is resilient, adaptive and reflective in their approach
• May have some knowledge and experience of My Plans/EHCPs but this is not essential
• Is able to adapt resources to support individual needs
• Is comfortable and confident in supporting physical needs
