A159 Teaching Assistant in First Steps (Cheltenham Hardwick Campus)

You will work closely with teaching staff to support students in their learning, helping them stay engaged and make good progress. You will assist with activities, resources and small group support, adapting your approach to meet individual needs. You’ll help students work towards their goals, building their confidence, independence and communication skills. The role also includes keeping accurate records, supporting trips and work-related activities, and contributing to enrolment and team meetings. At times, you may provide personal care to ensure all students can fully access their learning.

About You

• Experience supporting young people in post-16 education, training, or similar settings.
• Confident using Microsoft Office.
• Awareness of safeguarding, or willing to undertake training.
• Good general education, including GCSE English and maths at grade C/4 or equivalent.
